Dear Professors

Stop using bad PowerPoint. No student wants to go to class and stare at 40 consecutive slides with 30 paragraphs of full blown text on them while listening to you read half of it out loud. Yes, we notice.

When we want to read, we get the book. If you want us to read, use good textbooks, or write an ebook, publish it online, and make it available to all your students. Seth Godin wrote up a nice piece about why you should do it, and how you can do it. Not only is it free, it beats going over 20 PowerPoint presentations with bad grammar the day before the exam.

Also, check out PowerPoint Ninja on how to improve your presentations.
